14 August 2020 Current Affairs:The Ministry of AYUSH launched “Ayush for Immunity” on 14th August through webinar. Ayush for Immunity is a three-month campaign. More than 50,000 people participated in the Webinar. The Webinar was staged on Ayush Virtual Convention Centre (AVCC), the new digital communication platform of the AYUSH Ministry.  

Ayush for Immunity Campaign:
The campaign aims to enhance immunity and the requirement of lifestyle change amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 
The campaign emphasizes the need for behavioural change in people towards immunity enhancing steps, and highlights the positive role of traditional medicines and practices in enhancing immunity. 
Various initiatives are planned to be launched under the umbrella of Ayush for Immunity campaign. 
The main focus of the event is to acquaint the people with valuable information about strengths of various Ayush-based solutions for enhancing immunity and preventing diseases.
